Launching Vinnie
Rector-Duncan Associates was looking
for a full page illustration to accompany an article in IHRM.Link, a magazine
devoted to human resource management. The article, "Launching VINNIE,"
explains how Volkswagen Corporation began developing an intranet to distribute
news and information to its employees. After viewing 15 to 20 pencil sketches
of various possibilities, the final image was chosen. Colors from the final
image were sampled and used as graphic elements in the article.
