Who We Are
Living in Texas, with an office in Austin, working on a range of exiting projects, I would like to begin with a confession.
Rezendes Design is actually made up of one sole proprietor: Me. As the Dude says in the Big Lebowski, “The royal ‘we’! You know, the editorial…” By cultivating a strong network of talented professionals from various disciplines, I’m able to provide additional services that compliment my own. This keeps costs to a minimum and allows you to focus more resources on growing your business. I am personally committed to the success of all the projects I take on and remain fully invested until each is complete. For more information on how this process works, head on over to the “How We Do It” section.
My Story

"Hi, I'm Anthony. I design websites, web apps, and Flash animations. I also illustrate, direct, and manage projects."
My journey began as a professional designer for a small print shop called Poets Corner Press. It’s a cool little shop that still exists today. Great owners. What I loved most was how the printing process worked from stripping negatives to developing film and creating blue lines. Those were good times!
Eventually my education in contemporary design took me to Boston where I continued exploring the intricacies of typography, layout, and composition. I soaked in as much of the culture as I could, taking classes at Mass Art, NSDI, the Artist’s Institute, and Northeastern University, plus lots of trips the the Boston Museum of Art. Upon graduation, I left Boston to pursue agency life in Texas. Jumping from ad agency to ad agency, I gained valuable experience with high-profile and international brands. I was also freelancing at the time, which gave me all the more exposure to the demands of the industry. As the internet industry started blossoming, I was hired by a top 10 company and cut my teeth on large web projects from a variety of national clients. When the bubble burst, I went to work for a state agency, leading both their print and web efforts.
Three years later, I ended up back in a web role with a local non-profit where I currently work as Director of Design.
